The Association, a non-profit organisation of Singapore’s leading art galleries, aspires to promote a professional gallery practice that is based on high standards of connoisseurship and ethical practice.

In addition, the Association, a source of information to art lovers, endeavours to increase public awareness of the role and responsibilities of reputable art dealers.

Other duties of the Association include promoting cooperation between gallery members, artists and artists’ organisations, as well as promoting gallery trade in Singapore and abroad in conjunction with government statutory boards such as the National Arts Council (NAC) and the Singapore Tourism Board (STB).
